Join us for the last in our Spring season of Orangery Thursday events with an evening of classical guitar from Leeds College of Music’s Matias Reed.

Guitar has been part of Matias’ life since the age of four. Starting out on a 3/4 size nylon string, he was taught a range of different styles, followed by a lengthy steel string phase that included a Simon & Patrick Luthier and Fender Stratocaster.

This evolved into an interest in Flamenco toward the end of school that was interrupted by two years of travelling and working. He is currently in his second year at Leeds College of Music studying BA Music, focussing primarily on Classical Guitar.

Join us for the last in our Spring season of Orangery Thursday events with an evening of classical guitar from Leeds College of Music’s Matias Reed.

Guitar has been part of Matias’ life since the age of four. Starting out on a 3/4 size nylon string, he was taught a range of different styles, followed by a lengthy steel string phase that included a Simon & Patrick Luthier and Fender Stratocaster.

This evolved into an interest in Flamenco toward the end of school that was interrupted by two years of travelling and working. He is currently in his second year at Leeds College of Music studying BA Music, focussing primarily on Classical Guitar.
