Joseph Haydn String Quartet Op 63/3 in B-flat
The Ligeti, WLMP Featured Artists, perform a programme which includes works by twentieth century greats, the Hungarian Gyorgy Ligeti (1923 - 2006), and Sir Peter Maxwell-Davies

The event ends with Haydn’s (1732 - 1809) Op 63 no 3.: “All of Haydn’s string quartets are firm audience favourites with his “genius for outward simplicity and inward complexity.” Rough Guide to Classical Music
