Freelance Project Manager Opportunity
Turning Point Yorkshire & Humber aims to provide a new and dynamic voice for the visual arts across the region.
We require a Project Manager role to support the TPYH Steering Group in the strategic development of the visual arts across the Yorkshire region – driving forward a sector endorsed strategy with the support of a lively but voluntary Steering Group. This will suit someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic and has relevant experience of working in the visual arts.

• A detailed statement regarding your approach to moving Turning Point forward over a 12 month period
• A comprehensive CV with details of previous experience relevant to this contract
• Details of how you would propose to work on this contract in terms of practicalities
• Contact details for two referees
Established in 2009, the Steering Group along with other key partners has delivered an intensive action-based programme of activity, culminating this year in the launch of A Voice for the Visual Arts – Strategy 2011.
This post will build on the work of the past 2 years, undertaken by current co-ordinators, Beam and the Interim Steering Group and has been created to oversee and manage the following:
• Appropriate support for the new Steering Group including sub groups, reviews of the structure and terms of reference, recruitment of officers (chair, vice chair etc.) and reporting methodologies.
• Discussion, development, and implementation of a Delivery Plan taking forward the priorities set out in the strategy: A Voice for the Visual Arts 2011-2014
• The relationships between regional Turning Point networks and the national coordinator, all stakeholders and Yorkshire and the Humber visual arts constituencies
