There’s lots of activity and events at The Orangery over the next few months.
Come over and see our special new exhibition Clare White (1903-1997) – An exhibition of 20th Century Watercolours
,featuring bright colourful watercolours by a friend of Dame Barbara Hepworth.

We’re also launching ‘Orangery Thursdays’ - regular arts and cultural events taking place at The Orangery on Thursday nights.
In collaboration with Wakefield Theatre Royal, we’ll be presenting a series of gigs - first up is Treecreeper on 9 February, featuring poetic heart felt songs.
As part of Orangery Thursdays we’re also welcoming the Matt Anderson Quartet on 23 February - the first of a series of events promoted by Leeds College of Music.
and… to celebrate the Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb we have a special evening of art and winetasting coming up on 24 February.
