Beam is delighted to announce Spin a Tale by Constella OperaBallet, a new creative commission as part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Great Place Scheme.
Constella OperaBallet will take you on a virtual journey of enchanting performances, spinning tales through music, dance, song, theatre and design to explore & celebrate Darley Abbey’s place in history and the wider Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
In partnership with Darley Abbey Day 2021, internationally renowned artists Constella OperaBallet have created an exciting series of short films featuring singers, dancers and choirs from Derbyshire and beyond.
Join our live online event on 8th May 11am, to watch the film premieres and meet the artists behind the project. This is a family friendly event and will be streamed live via Youtube. You’ll be able to ask questions via the interactive chat function and find out more about the trail of oversized ‘bobbin’ installations and colourful bunting that will pop up throughout the village for 2 weeks only!
