Strutt’s North Mill Museum hosts an exciting event showcasing arts and music inspired by the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. A unique opportunity to see inside the impressive Grade II* listed Strutt House and enjoy a range of specially crafted pieces of music, poetry and performances.

Derby Museum’s mobile museum of making – The Makory – will make a special appearance, offering a range of free artist-led activities also inspired by Strutt’s North Mill Museum.

Contributing artists include Umbilica, Grawl!x, Sarah Hinds, Seiko Kinoshita, Toni Buckby, Spindrift, Dejani Chatterjee and Charu Asthana with more to be confirmed! Teas, coffees and cakes will also be available.

This free event is funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund & Arts Council England as part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Great Place Scheme, Artistic Programme produced by Beam.

Entrance to Strutt’s North Mill Museum will also be free for the afternoon with short guided tours available on request for a donation.
