We’re delighted to be working on behalf of Pennine Prospects to manage a series of socially engaged artist commissions in the lead up to the launch of the South Pennines Park in September 2021.

The South Pennines area stretches from Horwich up to Ilkley, across to Bradford and down to Oldham. We’re excited that our team of artists is now in place and will be working with communities in areas throughout the South Pennines this summer. Appointed artists are Emma Long; Ammie Sykes; Karol Wyszynski; James Mabbett/ NapoleonIIIrd; Pat Farrell/ Cave Man; and Naseem Darbey. The commissions will be documented by Studio Bokehgo.

The residencies will be delivered in diverse, socially and economically disadvantaged communities in and around the South Pennines. Our aim is to include and feature the voice and opinions of the communities and artwork produced in a collaborative film to be premiered in September 2021 to help promote the cultural value of the area and celebrate the launch of the South Pennines Park. Commissions are supported by the Culture Recovery Fund.
